The lead singer, Tiki Lewis and bass player, Jonathan Burkes are the foundation of this great Los Angeles based band, PIEL. They are also my roomates and when I can I shoot as much footage of them performing as possible. They are amazing people with impeccable skills. Tiki’s words are powerful even though she packages them in fun, party sounds. I’m honored to capture these times before they blow the fuck up! Please Respect!

So what I get from this is the structure that makes up you, like all structures, is from the intent of frequency. Not frequency in a sound form, but from the infinite..The need for sound. Sound creates structures. Complex sounds, based off a complex fractal consciousness, create more complex structures..then more specific with nuance as the song changes, so to speak. Excuse my layman vernacular, I’m not a specialist. Just been into finding this sort of information for a long time. Visualization is everything when on the quest to master ones self. As I’m sure you all know…This is also gives me more of the concept on ones personal field and how one creates friction in ones experience. Not that friction is bad. I think its the point of this journey. I can think of many a pleasant friction experience. So, I paint with no bias. It’s the point of friction to experience it. Good or bad. Mastering ones resonate field. I’ve always been impressed by people like that.

In my quest for personal self sustaining lifestyle I collect lots of information to assist me in problem solving.

I love me some Nassim..He’s got some great theories. I don’t think the conversation about the issues he speaks about is closed. I believe we all need to keep the movement on the issues going forward. More discussions!

Smoke is a vehicle to the other side. You can communicate intent and receive information. Female energy helps one stay liquid. The proper arrangements of elements, colors, textures and sense stimulation can be gestures towards a goal and vision. The ancestor walk with you. They know whats up…some of them. Some are tricksters pulling you into their past mistakes and misfortunes. They can materialize in many forms. Some real, some figments. All fuckers. Ritual can move one to center….in this spiral experience the resistance gets the strongest as we reach center. Eye of the storm.
